LIFE HACKS: Things that make Mom (and DAD!) life a little easier
Being a parent is a lot. You’re juggling kids, groceries, meals, schedules, and somehow still expected to take care of yourself, too.
It can feel overwhelming, because it is.
Here are a few things that have helped us lighten the load and make family life just a little bit easier.
Childcare
Hello Nanny! - Looking for someone to help with the mental load of finding a solid caregiver (which is game changing) - let the experts help!
AI assistants/Organization-
Duckbill- My new favorite tool to actually get things on my to do list done. It combines AI with humans to execute tasks quickly and efficiently.
Ex) figure out food delivery for my sister’s family in another state to be delivered tomorrow
Maple - a household management app to help with keeping track of all the to-do lists and calendars- can invite partner and assign tasks too. Helping to keep us on track!
Groceries/Kid snacks
Thrive Market - has been great for ordering kids snacks for school. I just emailed them that I did not want to pay any monthly fees and I turned off the auto shipping piece, so I just order a box whenever we need a re-boot!
Exercise-
Soto Method- most efficient videos for at home workouts, often in pajamas and always with a child nearby but it gets done!
